It has been too long! My bad, got caught up in work madness but I am still alive and well! It's been quite a few days so I am not going to give a daily summary but rather a overall summary of what the last few days have been like. Soooooo probably the biggest thing that has happened these past few days is that I reached my goal by going on Tower of Terror for the first time in my life.

After going on it once and being scared out of my mind it made total sense to ride it again... -_- haha but I am really glad I did. The second time I knew what to expect so I could fully take it all in and now that I have done it I think I am good to go. Well, we'll see...
Another cool thing is that I have actually cooked now! Yay! A break from bologna sandwiches! I've made spaghetti a couple times now and I love it.
Speaking of food, I went to earl of sandwich the other day and although I have been there before I experienced it in a whole new way! I had a sandwich called the holiday turkey and it changed my life. It's a sandwich on biscuit-like bread with sliced turkey, stuffing, gravy, mayo, and cranberry sauce on it. Yeah, it's amazing. And for you future CP's we do get a discount here!
I worked a different part of the park this week as well called the west side and it was alright. I would have to say the best part about it was putting on the Mickey hand at the end of the night and saying goodbye to all the wonderful people exiting the park.
I gave out a lot of high-fours that night and it was so wonderful. We even did some free style dancing that was much loved by our guests :)
And finally, I got to create a magical moment for a family! I was working the VIP section next to the firehouse and for the first parade it was restricted to people who had reserved it but for the second parade no one had reserved it. So here I was with this awesome spot for the parade, right where the parade begins and no one to enjoy it... Across the walkway I see this family of four stop and start discussing. They all look pretty tired and like they are just ready to go back to the hotel for the night. I go over and talk with them and ask if I can help with anything and explain to them that I have this parade viewing spot that I really think they would enjoy if they decided to stay. They decide to stay and come into the VIP viewing area, the two little boys looked so happy and excited to see the parade and the parents were so thankful. The Dad in the group leaned over to me during the parade and thanked me for telling them about this spot and how wonderful it was. He also told me it was their last night of a ten day vacation and they were ready to just go back to their resort and rest but he was so very happy that they stayed! They were such a wonderful family and that's why a lot of people work for Disney. We get to meet such wonderful families and people and every now and then you'll get a very "passionate" guest (that's putting it nicely!) but for every guest that is not as nice you have about a million guests who are so kind. With fourth of July coming up I know it's going to be a mad house but as long as I do my best and remember we're trying to make happy memories for our guests then I will get through it!
