Been a while!

Hello all! As you can see it's been quite a while since I last posted. Sooooo I have decided to stop posting on the blog. All updates will now be on Facebook and Instagram! Haha I can't keep up with the blog but I can do Facebook posts :) 

Universal, Villains, Ice, More Goodbyes, More Sickness etc.

So I realize It's been a while! I haven't had too much down time but now that I'm off work for 5 days because I have the flu I have plenty of time... :(

I went to universal and got an annual pass. Totally worth it! I'll be going back quite a few times. 

Diagon alley is absolutely beautiful and the hogwarts express is just amazing! 

Harry Potter and the forbidden journey is the most amazing ride! I don't even like thrill rides but it's totally worth it to ride this. 

 

We ate dinner in hogsmeade and I had dessert at honeydukes! Pumpkin tart was sooooo good!

After the parks closed me and my roommates lived it up and went to city walk and had a late dinner at bubba gumps and frozen yogurt at menchies! 

Next day I went to villains unleashed at hollywood studios! It was awesome! Here's my hades inspired makeup!

We got to meet darth vador, dr facilier, and star lord and gamora! I also got to see bowler hat guy, cruella de vill, oogie boogie, and jafar! 

I also had to say goodbye to all my Frenchies from PAC! :(

I'm going to miss you guys so much! I'll just have to come to France to visit :)

I had my last class on Thursday and my group gave an awesome presentation! Then we all went to the "A whole new world" event. Had some pizza and met aladin and jasmine!

And after that everything went downhill, went to the doc and found out I have the flu! So now I'm in bed for next few days!

Gifts :)

I've gotten to be parade escort three times now! 

It's so much fun to walk the entire parade route and see all those smiling faces, plus, it's a workout! 

Other than that, I received some mail! 

Some of you may not know but when I was little my mom and I had a little tradition. If I couldn't sleep I would come to her room, we would both go downstairs, make toast and tea and watched golden girls until we could sleep. so in honor of that my mom sent me a golden girls cup and very nice tea! 

She is also sending me toast... That's right! Pre-made toast! 

Thank you so much for thinking of me, it makes me miss home :) 

I also got a pretty cool postcard from Grandma!!!

Home & Back Again!

I had such a wonderful time visiting home! 

(Hehe I didn't give him a chance to smile)

We saw a wonderful play at our local theater and most of the time we all just hung out together :) 

My mom made the most amazing mini thanksgiving meal since I won't be home for thanksgiving this year... 

And I got to have a nice breakfast with my grandma before I had to head back! 

We had such a great time and I can't wait for them to come down to Disney for the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party! Love you guys!

When I came back to Florida it was also the time that all the international programmers were leaving... It was really hard to say goodbye to a big part of our PAC family :( 

Words can't describe how much these guys changed my experience here! PAC won't be the same without you all and I'm already missing you guys so much! 

Although, Before the end of their program we all got to go out for a special breakfast at Ohana! 

I also got to be there to watch their last wishes show! 

It was a night of tears and hugs! But it was the best way to say goodbye, one last wishes :) love you all!

Also in the past week I got to go on the People Mover for the first time since it got refurbished and it was great! The people mover is seriously the best!

And I finally made it to Animal Kingdom! I went of Dinosaur and primeval whirl and screamed my head off. I also went through the nature trail and saw the gorillas. There was a mother gorilla holding her newborn baby, 12 days old! It was adorable!!!

The big news of the week is that I made it into the 2014 Candleight Cast Choir!!! I'm so excited! :) till next time! 

Lots 'o' Letters

Thank you all for the lovely letters and cards! It meant a lot to come home from a long day of work and read all your words of encouragement :) 

Also, I'm pretty sure my sister sent me the largest letter I have ever received! 

It made me crack up! I love it! Btw this poster paper and use of multi-colored pens screams teacher! Lol

So I've said my first goodbye to a fellow PAC member :( why do international people have to leave so early?! It was sad to say goodbye to part of our PAC family but I had such a good time working with her! Best of luck! 

 And next week I'll have quite a few more goodbyes when the whole international group gets to the end of their program but until then we're going to enjoy the time we have! :) 

I am so excited to be going home to visit tomorrow! I miss everyone so much! I get to see my family, friends, movie group, and previous co-workers (shoutout 1938!). 

In closing, I just want to ask a small favor of everyone. A very special family friend of ours, a little girl, is going through a very hard time right now. She could definiltey use our thoughts and prayers at this time as well as a little pixie dust :) it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

New Feet, New Person!

I am in love with the spa at The Grand Floridian. I had such a wonderful time and I really needed a break from being on my feet all day.

And when you go back into the lounge you get to change into a ginormous robe that's fuzzy on the inside and sandals! 

They have a room that guests can go into before their appointment and either go into the jacuzzi or the steam room but they also have these amazing chairs! 

The chairs are covered in mosaic pieces and they are HEATED! It was the most amazing chair, I really wanted to take a nap in it.

After my spa appointment, 3 of us roomies got all dolled up to go out to a fancy dinner at the grand floridian. We ate at the Grand Floridian Cafe.

I went all out too! I got an appetizer, a steak, and a dessert sampler!

After dinner we watched Wishes from the dock and then we walked around the resort. We walked in the pool...

And then we came across this splash-ground...

I thought it would be a great roomie-bonding experience to jump into it and stand under the waterfall in my fancy dress... So I did! And it was amazing! 

On my second day off I went to class and then did some laundry like a real adult! Then finished off the night by going out to see Guardians of the Galaxy at Downtown Disney. It was EPIC! I loved it so much and I cannot wait for another! That pretty much concludes my adventures over the past few days, more to come :) 

Livin' the Life

My roomies and I had a really fun night in which included Krispy Kreme and welches sparkling grape juice!

We are having such a blast! The past few days I have basically just been working though. On the more adventurous side... I went to my friend's birthday party (yoohoo family!) and today I went to a secret photoshoot :D once I see it is public I'll definitely post a pic!

The thing I am most looking forward to though is my spa appointment at the grand floridian on Friday. I'm getting an 80 minute pedicure! I need it so bad!!! Lol.

Shoutout to Jackson, who is starting an amazing journey into middle school! I really wish I could be there for your first day but I'll be there at the end of the week so you can tell me all about your first week of middle school! Love you all!
